In 2024, Holden, Bathurst 1000 and Australian motorsport fans will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of one of the most famous results at Mount Panorama featuring the ‘Last of the Big Bangers’, the #05 and #25 Holden VK Commodore Group C’s raced by Peter Brock / Larry Perkins and John Harvey / David Parsons to finish 1-2 in the 1984 James Hardie 1000.
It’s scheduled to be produced in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed racing cockpit and more in an exclusive one-off limited edition, presented in a display case with the model attached to a white base plate which features the car details printed on it. An individually numbered backing board featuring the edition number is also included as part of the package and acts as the Certificate of Authenticity for the release.
